This is a collection of technical articles devoted to the theoretical questions and practical problems related to teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language. The articles examine unique aspects of organizing the process of studying Ukrainian for a foreign language audience. Various language and country studies aspects are illuminated; in addition, problems in cross-cultural communication are discovered, as well as particularities of teaching the phonetics, lexica, grammar, and stylistics of Ukrainian. The role of the text is revealed, and means of forming communicative competence in the process of teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language are analyzed.
