². ORGANIZING THE PROCESS OF TEACHING UKRAINIAN
TO FOREIGN AUDIENCE
The author describes the features of the module-rating system of knowledge evaluation of foreign students in the Ukrainian language. Disscussed the problems of effective control and evaluation of knowledge, in particular the choice of indicators, many aspects and skills. Traces the content-methodological aspects of the four modules.

The article is considering the problem creating and providing of the National Standard of Ukrainian as a foreign language (UFL).

In the article the foreign student’s need to learn Ukrainian through the lens of his/her profession is accentuated. Some practical recommendations to assist in applying the profession-centered principle in the process of teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language are provided.

The article focuses on the kinds of tests for scientific style of Ukrainian as a foreign language. Some theoretical information about test and some practical material are presented in the article.

In the suggested article we analyzed a model of teaching foreign language, which applies at Warsaw University (Poland). Its structure corresponds with European suggestions and requirements in accordance with a Common European Framework of Reference for languages: learning, teaching, assessment worked out by the Council of Europe. We touched the issues how to teach and what needs to be a priority in teaching foreign language, how to achieve a level which is similar to the one in majority of European countries.

²². THE FORMATION OF COUNTRY STUDIES AND SPEECH COMPETENCE IN THE PROCESS OF STUDYNG UKRAINIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE
Linguistic country studies potential of memorial places, in particular of Ukrainian castles is a source of knowledge about cultural perception of the world, spiritual life of its native speakers. The article analyses Ukrainian culture specific vocabulary used for the designation of Ukrainian castles which has linguistic and cultural value by representing ethno-cultural connotation.

The ornithonyms are been analyzed in the article in such aspects – the etymology of these names, ability to form diminutives, the potential to creating personal names. The author described birds’ nominations in nursery rhymes, idioms, comparisons, collations, riddles. The birds’ nominations are been presented in the different genres of folklore and literature.

The article reviews the mechanisms and practices of speech-making educational situations as a means of communicative approach to teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language and a base of modern foreign language learning process organization.

Iryna Protsyk. Fiction works as didactic texts for reading at the lessons with foreigners and the system of exercises for teaching reading as a type of speech activity (based on the short story „Childhood” from the novel „Riders” by Yuriy Yanovskiy).
The article shows the system of the exercises for teaching reading as a type of speech activity at the lessons with foreigners worked out on the basis of the short story „Childhood” from the novel „Riders” by Yuriy Yanovskiy.

In the article, the efficiency of computer technology using during Ukrainian lessons for foreigners was described on the example of computer text corpus of I. Franko. Attention was concentrated at the advantaged of concordance of his works as well as at the application of parallel text corpora of I. Franko auto-translations.

THE PHONETICS, LEXICA, GRAMMAR AND WORD FORMATION OF
UKRAINIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE
The role and importance of phonetics in the course of Ukrainian language as foreign was actualized. The requirements for the organization of phonetics teaching process for foreign students were formulated. The system of techniques and methods of orthoepic and accentuation norms study was suggested.

327 central words of synonymous line – general notions which report basic semantic for more than 8066 lexico-semantic variants of the verbs with the meaning of motion – were determined in the process of research. The research results can be used in some fields of linguistic theory and practice: conceptualization of the surrounding world; in creation of short explanatory dictionaries; in writing textbooks for studying Ukrainian as foreign language.

Linguistic and country study potential, which is including in the theonyms nominations helps improving the knowledge of a forein student about religion, culture, traditios of Ukrainian. Sistematization and research of ancient Ukrainian theonyms in the light of lexicographic treatment belong to the sphere of important tasks of linguodidactics.

In the article an unknown layer of Ukrainian ergonimia has been reviewed. This is the nomination of modern political parties and their research in the aspect of linguistic-country studies. The linguistic status of subgroup has been studied, also structural-semantic models of its units and the state of language culture have been analysed. On the example of the names of political parties such as Blok of Y. Tymoshenko and Party of Regions connotative degree of partionims has been illustrated.

The article discusses and analyzes the nomination for designation of the man’s appearance and interior features in the process of learning Ukrainian as a foreign language and proposed the exercise system to repeat and control studied vocabulary.

Semantic and word-formative peculiarities of the names of daytime and nighttime periods and of the derivative words are considered, paying attention to the specificity of studying the lexical topic „The Day” in the course of Ukrainian language as a foreign one.

The author payed attention to the peculiarities of a grammar material organization in the distance learning course of Ukrainian as a foreign language. Analysed different types of test tasks, methods of teaching grammar, selection of active and passive grammatical minimum.

IV. CERTIFICATION OF KNOWLEDGE UKRAINIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE BY EUROPEAN STANDARDS
The problem of methodological providing of the Ukrainian language teaching process for the citizens of Ukraine as their mother tongue and state language and for citizens of other countries as a foreign language is actualized in the context of obtaining qualifying levels certification demands in accordance with European standards.

The problem of multilevel certification of knowledges of foreigners of Ukrainian rises in the article. The necessity of creation of the programs is proved on each of levels. Experience of scopes of levels is analysed in east and western countries. It is suggested to take material of the set borders of knowledges for basis of every level of the program.

The overview of the fundamental European certification systems was made. The consideration of the possibility of international standards of knowledge quality assessment application in the process of Slavonic languages certification through harmonization of linguistic tests was made. Especially, in certification of Ukrainian language considered as a foreign one.

V. UKRAINIAN TERMINOLOGY IN THE ASPECT OF LINGUODIDACTICS
The actuality of Ukrainian terminology as very important object of teaching of foreign students in the institutions of higher education in Ukraine is grounded; the model of presentation of terms in the work with special texts is described and the typology of linguistic and didactic tasks for effective mastering is suggested.

The author of the article describes the manuals which were issued abroad. The terminology of methods of teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language on the basis of the characterized manuals is analyzed.

The methods of serve of linguistic terminology are considered in the article, didactics advices are given in relation to presentation of determination of term and concrete morphological terms at different levels of study of Ukrainian as foreign.

VI. INTERLINGUAL AND INTERCULTURAL PROBLEMS OF COMMUNICATION: LINGUODIDACTIC ASPECT
The article represents a conception of the teacher edition which aim is optimizing a process of teaching stylistics of the Russian language by means of the textbook for 10th form at schools with the Ukrainian language of teaching, one of the co-authors of which is the author of the given article. It deals first with the peculiarities of teaching of the functional styles, particularly the part dedicated to the basic notions of stylistics.

Means of expressing negation in Ukrainian and German have been studied. Both convergent and divergent features of the field in the two languages have been revealed and an appropriate teaching optimization framework has been suggested.

The article describes one of methods encouraging study of the Ukrainian language in Poland, in particular it deals with the nationwide spelling contest, which has been organized since 2006 by the Institute of Ukrainian Philology at the Jagiellonian University.

The Contest of Reciting Ukrainian Poetry and Prose, held annually in Lublin, is an important form for popularizing Ukrainian culture abroad. Due to the Contest, a lot of Polish pupils have a chance to get acquainted with Ukrainian literature and with their Ukrainian peers during Polish and Ukrainian meetings of Masters of reciting. The Contest is growing and requires support from the Ukrainian State and educational institutions.
